Henryetta Golf Club, Inc. Board Meeting Minutes – October 15, 2015

The Regular Board Meeting for October was called to order on Thursday, October 15, 2015, as rescheduled from Wednesday, Oct. 14, due to lack of quorum. In attendance were Chairman Jim Crockett, Larry Hester, Donnie Smith, and Gayle Machetta, with Brandon Andrews and Dutch Vandenborn unable to attend the meeting. Chairman Crockett called the meeting to order a 5:35 pm.

Minutes from the September meeting were presented and approved on a motion by Donnie Smith, seconded by Gayle Machetta.

Financial reports for September were presented by Gayle and approved as presented on a motion by Donnie Smith, seconded by Larry Hester. Included in the discussion of the financial reports was a budget comparison and cash flow needs analysis for the remainder of the calendar year. While we have a balance in our checking account and are in the black for the year-to-date, it appears we will run short for the last quarter covering fixed expenses and payroll.

Following the discussion, on a motion by Gayle Machetta, seconded by Larry Hester, the Board authorized a one-time draw of $5,000 against the equipment credit line at the American Exchange Bank to be deposited into the Operating Account. The membership report was presented, with applications for new membership from Murry and JoAnn Key, Dallas and Monique Johnson, Bob and Pat Boatman, and Richard Miner. All applications were approved, on a motion by Gayle, seconded by Donnie. Total membership is now 91 families, with a total of eight new members since August 1.

There was some further discussion about the upcoming winter season and staffing needs, and Donnie was going to talk to Jimmy Cunningham to see how much longer he intended to work for this year, and Gayle was going to contact employment service regarding benefits in the event of a seasonal layoff. There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm.

Respectfully submitted, Gayle Machetta, Sec./Treas.
